Indian Ratatouille with Morrocan flatbread and couscous, not to mention fresh coriander from the garden
Lemon Bars
Fairly simple, and mmmmmm lemony.
Cranberry Gravy
This is really easy to make, and is a fantastic stand-in for traditional cranberry jelly.
Luxury Nut and Seed Loaf
This is a very nice loaf that uses 4 different nuts and 2 kinds of seeds (or 5 and 1, depending on your personal stand on the pine nut issue).
Cranberry Orange Bubble Bread
My mum and I like to make this waaaaay early Christmas morning – then when everyone’s up, we have fresh coffee and chunks of warm bread while we rip through open our presents.
Welcome
Welcome to The Communal Kitchen!
Jeannine, Mary, Nicole and I are pretty good cooks, and we decided to share some of our favourite recipes with each other, and, by default, anyone else who stumbles across our humble home on the web.
Many, many, many of the recipes that will eventually be posted here are vegetarian, since Nicole and I are veg at home, and Jeannine cooks that way too, most of the time.
If you have a great recipe, or are looking for a great recipe, let us know!!
